This multi-faceted course advances the mindset for the responsible defensive firearms owner by focusing on and understanding conflict avoidance and situational awareness; handgun & shotgun basics; shooting fundamentals; the Physiology of violent encounters; the legal aspects of the use of deadly force – including knowing what to do in the aftermath; and a complete guide on gear, gadgets, and ongoing training.
We briefly cover marksmanship fundementals so please be comfortable with basic marksmanship fundementals from 7-10 meters. Instructors will be happy to work with you through the class to pass the live fire portion, however this class will not teach you to hit small competition targets. It focuses more on defensive shooting and the ability to stop an aggressor from attacking you.
The class will also teach students how to set up basic drills, create a home defense plan, and cover ammunition options. This is a great stepping stone to for a novice while reinforcing your sikills as an advanced shooter.
Each string of qualification is 25 rounds. If you want to qualify on a semiautomatic and a revolver it will be 25 rounds for each pistol. No reloaded ammunition is allowed for qualification.
Rentals are availible if needed. *Shooter will supply factory ammo for rentals*
This class meets NM Concealed Carry reqirements for issuance of a permit.

I was afraid this class was going to be super hard, but both of the instructors made it actually fun! The way they taught, it was super easy to understand and retain all the information from the book! I loved this class and am going to have my daughter and sons try to get into it as soon as they are able. I wish I had even half the knowledge these folks have. They are amazing.
